Today, I'm feeling better. Still got a cough but my throat is better and so is my appetite.
For breakfast, I didn't have time to cook anything so I had weetbix with almond milk. Remind me never to have that again. Imagine eating weetbix soaked in water with gritty almonds. It wasn't pleasant but I ate it anyway.
For snack, we ran out of my mums cookies so we opened a bag of chickpea chips and took a couple of handfuls. Chickpea chips are not only tasty, but contain lots of protein, good fats and minerals. The ones we have are organic and cooked in sunflower oil.
Lunch was left over cous cous salad. Was very nice, yet cold. I was a little bit hungry after lunch so I ate a beautiful banana. That satisfied me.
Bananas are full of potassium and heaps of vitamins. Research has linked eating bananas everyday reduces risks of high blood pressure, cancer, asthma, diabetes and can improve your heart and digestive health as well as boosting your memory. For dinner, we had some beautiful home made lentil soup. It was warm and tasty - just what I needed.
After that for a refreshing dessert, I just had some good ol' watermelon. Really refreshing and sweet.
That's the end of another day! Hope I get better tomorrow!
