Creamy Avocado Chocolate smoothie

This smoothie is a healthy yet yummy snack. The banana and dates/honey gives the smoothie a subtle sweetness while the avocado gives it protein, healthy fats and a creamy, nutty taste. My mum made this for us one afternoon and we loved it. It was refreshing and tasted just like a chocolate smoothie. Here is the recipe:

SERVES: 1 INGREDIENTS:

8 ounces almond milk ½ cup crushed ice 1 ripe banana 3 dates, or 1 tablespoon honey ½ avocado (about ¼ cup) 2 tablespoons raw cacao 2 tablespoons almond butter 1½ teaspoon golden flaxseed INSTRUCTIONS:

Blend for 30 seconds until smooth.
